The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
